RUTH’S CHRIS TAR HEEL INVITATIONAL [Oct 17-19, 2025]
Finely Golf Course again played host to some of the nation’s best D1 women’s golf teams for the 49th rendition of the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational, a tournament that has seasoned beautifully across 50 years of UNC women’s golf history. We cover some aspects of this great history including the connection between the great steak and UNC golf, as well as the fact that two of the four coaches that have kept this tournament running across 6 different decades have actually played in the event!

Since we were a little late in getting this post out, let’s use the opportunity to do a little recap. (Super) Anna Davis is back in a big way, claiming the fourth win of her collegiate career as the Auburn Tigers won by 15 strokes over Duke. Davis was joined in the top-5 by teammates Balma Davalos and Anne Fernandez (both T4). Host UNC finished 6th.
GOLF CLUB OF GEORGIA COLLEGIATE [Oct 24-26, 2025]
Thoughts of Spring golf in Georgia may evoke a certain iconic melody, but the Fall undoubtedly belongs to the collegiate stars. This month, Georgia Tech hosts the 19th edition of the prestigious Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate which in many ways reflects the gravitas of major golf competition. Here are nine things to know about one of the highlights of the Fall season. There’s a rumor this may be one of the (if not the) last iterations for Coach Bruce Heppler, so you’re definitely not going to want to miss this (not that you would anyway)!
